Anyone fancy taking their car full of lovely volunteers from DRS to this wonderful event? I am taking mine and would love it if we could take two or three more!!

Details from Bill Walton, British red Cross Refugee Support, Nottingham

"We are planning wellbeing Afternoon to celebrate Refugee Week on the 18th June from 2pm to 5pm at St Andrews Church Hall, Chaucer Street, Ng1 5JT.
We currently have approx. 40 to 50 Refugee and Asylum Seekers attend our project each week and we hope to get as many of clients there as possible, at our last wellbeing event in January we had over 40 projects attend with information stalls.

We are using the main hall upstairs that holds up to 100 people and will be opening the Small Hall as a world food language café.
Our 30+ volunteers will be around to help with translating and we will have nearly all the main languages covered, including Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, Tigrinya etc
