Record breaking session at DRS!

Today we broke all previous records with nearly 80 volunteers at DRS!

With 60 asylum seeker volunteers and nearly 20 helpers, we were able to enjoy English classes, samba drumming in the park, more music in the garden and we all made lots of new friends!

This is all wonderful

But

All new volunteers, who arrived in the UK in 2022, know that the government wants to send them to Rwanda.

They also know, because we tell them, that we will fight this in any and every way we can. We are working with partner organisations to find ways to resist, including donating £500 to Care4Calais for their legal campaign.

Please come and visit us, have a cuppa, and meet some of the amazing people the government is soooo afraid of. Like us, you will want to fight to protect them. We owe it to them.
