Sally in Calais...

Half way through our stint with Care4Calais now. The mornings have been spent sorting clothes and shoes, as well as making up food packs. In the afternoons we’ve taken part in aid distributions at « unathorised settlements » in Calais and Dunkerque. Conditions are utterly grim, but the asylum seekers try hard to stay upbeat and always greet us with a smile.
