"Absolutely special!"
On 10th December, 20 of us enjoyed a lovely visit to Derby Theatre to see “Wind in the Willows”.
Although most of the group were asylum seekers with little English, the production was action packed and almost cartoonish, making it easy to follow. A variety of songs and musical styles complimented the mood at key moments, again helping everyone to understand the feelings that were being experienced by the characters.
Bewar said how much he enjoyed hearing the children in the audience laughing and Homa said how much her own children loved it.
Big thanks to Vanessa for organising everything. Please can we go again soon?
