Two hundred times twenty equals.....

Since we reopened almost exactly one month ago, we have welcomed over 200 new asylum seekers to DRS.

Because we don't have 200 coats, 200 pairs of gloves or 200 hats in our storeroom, we have given each person £20 and a list of charity shops in Derby.

Our spare cash is coming to an end. We have a van full of aid heading for Calais next week and this also costs money.

As winter approaches, please think about donating coats, hats, scarves or cash to DRS so that we can continue to help keep people warm. We would be so grateful!
