The love in the room was strong!

A week when the British government have, once again, tried to demonize asylum seekers and deny their fundamental human rights, can really get you down.

This new volunteer found her own solution:

“I came to the session this morning ……. I had mainly wanted to be there because it had been such a horrible week and I wanted to show solidarity with the community. I had such a good time! So much so that I would love to come back and volunteer more frequently. I don’t have any teaching experience but I can offer conversational English. Unfortunately I can’t commit to every week and I understand you may prefer someone who can offer more time. Please let me know if that’s ok and how to proceed.
