From Birmingham to Derby

Taha came to visit us yesterday. From Birmingham to Derby. He came to say thank you.

Taha was one of those detained when he went to his regular appointment at Loughborough Reporting Centre. He's been reporting for years and didn't think he was at risk.

Luckily he had kept one of the flyers we have been giving out to those reporting, every day since the end of April. Taha phoned Taran from detention, she connected him with a lawyer. Now he's released.

Taha wanted to thank everyone at DRS and others who have been supporting asylum seekers.
