Last Thursday, Charlie from DRS and Jakub from Migrant Help teamed up to organise and accompany four teams (30 players) from Derby to compete in Keele University’s third annual football
tournament for refugees and asylum seekers. The day also involved presentations on educational opportunities available to them.

Our Derby teams did us proud, with Derby Lion and Derby Panthers both winning their way to the semi-finals of The Keele Cup and one of our Laverstoke teams winning the final of The Trophy Competition on penalties.
