DRS are delighted to be taking part in the A Million Acts of Hope campaign!

Volunteering alongside asylum seekers, we all feel surrounded by acts of hope all the time: our asylum seeker volunteertranslators, helping people they have never met before to navigate complex and confusing letters and documents; our Storeroom Team helping newly arrived asylum seekers find clothes and shoes that can help them to walk taller; our allotment team helping with all the tiring tasks knowing that plants, like friendships, grow from small beginnings.

Every person who walks into DRS on a Thursday or a Saturday carries hope with them, even those hiding in hoodies or scowls.
