Bike kitchen (no chicken!)

Big thanks to Lifecycle UK and Sustrans for this delivery today. The 1st consignment of 20 new and reconditioned bikes for DRS volunteers. Some bikes are brand new and still in boxes providing an opportunity for volunteers to learn basic bike building skills with Jono , our Lifecycle bike engineer, running the bike kitchen every Thursday at St Annes. This will make a massive difference providing transport for volunteers seeking work or just moving more easily around Derby as we gradually come out of the covid crisis. All bikes are complete with lights and locks and DRS will fund helmets for everyone
