Home sweet wooden home.

At DRS we are VERY lucky to have a thriving music group, led by Sue and Carol, with assistance from Babak, Richard, Sarah, Kayley and Lizzie! Asylum seeker volunteers enjoy regular music sessions and are currently preparing for a performance during Refugee Week in June!

Lots of generous individuals and organisations have donated instruments and for too long now, these have been piled up on a table, alongside random bits of clothing, bike parts and chocolate wrappers…

Well, thanks to Ian Clark, a self employed carpenter who found us on social media, the instruments now have a home, a purpose built, very lovely home!
