Be the Voice.....

Every Saturday, at 2pm, since the murder of Mahsa Amini in Iran, Iranian people have gathered on the steps of Derby Council House to protest against her horrific death and the subsequent unrest in Iran, which is leading to further violence and the deaths of many other innocent people.

Whatever the weather, many have gathered to “Be the Voise of Iran” - to SAY HER NAME

On Saturday 31st January, a group of DRS volunteers from Sudan also wanted to protest - at the rise of violence in Darfur, where innocent villagers are being murdered .

In an inspiring show of solidarity, both groups protested side by side and supported each others’ calls for peace, the end of killing and for democracy.
