I just wanted to say how proud I am to be a part of DRS and all of the wonderful things it does to support our asylum seekers in Derby. The event today was a reminder of all that we offer. For such a small organisation we have a huge impact . The music, allotment, clothes repairs, English, trips, bikes, personal needs, support in hotels, trips....... the list goes on. The love from those who have passed through DRS remains after they have moved on. DRS is quite unique and there are so many wonderful people who are part of its exceptional set up. Everyone is an important part of the machine. It may creak at times, but what an amazing thing it is.

What a lovely day and so wonderful to meet others helping in Derby and beyond, and to talk to people about our volunteers.
