"This past Saturday afternoon I visited the Derbyshire Refugee SolidarityHQ in Derby. What an amazing organisation helping refugees to learn English, support them with their application for asylum, help them navigate the bureaucracy involved and also providing support with clothing, shoes, bikes and other daily needs. What I saw there was the exact opposite you hear from some political parties on the news and social media. I will be talking about this further over the coming Civic year. I would encourage you to go to their website or Facebook page and learn more about the truth of what actually is going on. I also would highly recommend you visit as well."
